SYNOPSIS
SEARCH AND WINGS AS DOUBLE TROUBLE SET TO ROCK SINGAPORE IN OCTOBER 2012
Performing live together for the first time in Singapore

After nearly two decades since their debut Double Trouble concert in 1993, Malaysian rock legends, Search and Wings, will finally be making their way down south to Singapore. They will be rocking and sharing the stage for the first time in Singapore at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in a one-night only concert on 12 October 2012. Tickets will be on sale via SISTIC from 6 August onwards.

The Double Trouble concert in Singapore will mark the bands’ first reunion since their last concert together in Malacca in 2011. It will also be the only concert planned for the year. In 2010 and 2011, die-hard fans were treated to sold-out concerts around Malaysia that spanned over several months. Search and Wings were at their peak of stardom when they decided to collaborate on an album in 1992. The album titled “Double Trouble” flew off the shelves upon its release, prompting the two bands to stage their first joint concert in 1993 and name their collaboration Double Trouble.

SNOW PATROL Live in Concert

1 Aug

SYNOPSIS
Join the Official SNOW PATROL Live in Singapore Facebook Event page and follow us on Twitter

Multi-platinum Irish/Scottish five-piece SNOW PATROL are bringing their highly anticipated ‘Fallen Empires Tour’ to Singapore on August 6th, 2012! This will be the band’s first ever performance in Singapore and their only show in S.E. Asia except for Manila.

The band’s latest Album ‘Fallen Empires’ was released on 14th Nov 2011. Recorded in Los Angeles with long-time producer Garret ‘Jacknife’ Lee, ‘Fallen Empires’ features the hit ‘Called Out In The Dark’ and stunning new single ‘This Isn’t Everything You Are’.

Snow Patrol – singer Gary Lightbody, guitarist Nathan Connolly, bassist Paul Wilson, drummer Jonny Quinn and keyboardist, Tom Simpson – recorded ‘Fallen Empires’ at Eagles Watch in Santa Monica, California. Tracks were mixed at the studio owned by ‘Jacknife’ Lee, a hacienda in Topanga Canyon, the one time hippy commune and former home to Neil Young and Woody Guthrie. Backing vocals were recorded by the LA Inner City Mass Gospel Choir in Compton, and Troy Van Leuwen from Queens Of The Stone Age provides additional guitars on two tracks. ‘Fallen Empires’ retains the essence of Snow Patrol’s appeal. The catch-all emotional dynamics are still there: the soulful ‘New York’ feels like a festival moment-in-waiting; ‘The Garden Rules’ a soundtrack to autumnal romance, and in ‘This Isn’t Everything You Are’ Snow Patrol have created another starkly beautiful masterpiece, the equal of their classics ‘Run’ and ‘Chasing Cars’. Quite simply, it is their best record to date and promises to redefine Snow Patrol as an altogether more ambitious, more expansive, creative force.

Would You Watch A Minka Kelly Sex Tape?

24 Jul

Minka Dumont Kelly (born Minka Dumont Dufay; June 24, 1980) is an American actress. She is perhaps best known for her roles in Charlie’s Angels, Friday Night Lights, and The Roommate.

TMZ alleges the tape was shot in a semiprofessional manner. The camera is secured by a tripod and hooked up to a TV monitor, so both Kelly and the boyfriend could watch the action as they created it. Kelly is supposedly very aware of the camera.

The 30-minute long tape was shot in New Mexico and features Mika with an ex-boyfriend, who is not Derek Jeter, baseball player, TMZ reported.

Kelly is currently dating actor Wilmer Valderrama.

All the tracks from his first three albums are excellent. His groundbreaking debut ‘Al-Muallim’ sold over 3 million copies. It was followed by his second release the highly acclaimed, ‘My Ummah’ which sold well over 4 million copies. The songs that stands out include “Al-Mu’allim”, “Supplication”,”My Ummah” and “Healing”; just to name a few. Despite the continual debate about musical instrument usage in his music, the sublime messages from the lyrics are more influential, inspiring and peaceful.
