I bought the Epson Stylus CX5900 more than a year ago. As it can be use without a computer, I did not install it on my computer until the day when I need to use the scanner to scan my old school day’s pictures.
It was then that I found out that the printer do not come with the Windows Vista printer/scanner drivers. I did try using the drivers from their website, but is still can’t scan a picture and noted me of a connection problem. I did try to solve the problem but it still failed to scan. Lastly I install it on my spare Windows XP computer and the scanner works fine and I sure that it is not a cable or scanner problems.
After so much tests and switching on and off the printer, the display shown that the blue and the pink inks are empty! Damn, why must the printer clean up the nozzles every time I switch on the printer? Stupid engineers! If I were you, I would only clean the nozzles after a few days, not every time I switch on the printer. Since the two colours are empty, I can’t even use the black ink for printing now!

Went to Sim Lim Square today and bought a A4TECH Compact Multimedia X-Slim Keyboard for my laptop. Retail price at Laser Distributor Pte Ltd (#05-58) is SGD$16, but I got a SGD$1 discount.
Low profile, compact, takes less desktop space. Ideal keyboard for a tablet PC / standard PC. 7 hot keys, slim and no number pad. PC / USB / PS2. Limited 1 year warranty.
Compact slim profile. Great for desktop or travel. At just 1.5cm thickness and less than 2/3 the width and weight of a traditional keyboard, the KL-5 is a great space saver on your desktop and ideal for travel. Enhanced key stability with laser printing. Layer engraved keys ensure you will never lose key identity. 7 convenient hot keys: power, back, forward, fresh, home, search and e-mail.
I love the “Power” hot key, it shutdown my Windows Vista conveniently.
Other than the 2 A1Pro stuffs, I also bought the Hauppauge analogue + digital TV tunner. Got the cheapest price from one of the indian shop at Sim Lim Square at SGD145. Other shops selling around SGD147 to SGD149.
After installing the A1Pro stuffs, I unpack the WinTV-HVR 900 Hybrid TV Stick box.
Here is the included DVB-T antenna.
Today I bought 2 A1Pro stuffs for my Black Knight. Never thought they got innovative computer stuffs.
Firstly the 4-port USB Hub that cost SGD15. Not like the traditional hubs where the gaps between each ports are close to each other and you need an extra cables to hook up your fat USB devices.
With this A1Pro, you can connect the devices in the 180 degree angle and you can also connect the USB hub in 360 degree position and on any USB slot of your notebook. It also have the power jack input to supply extra voltage if you need to.
My first printer, Epson Stylus COLOR 440 at SGD$219.00 bought at Aquest Computer Pte Ltd.
